Dr. Krida Uakridathikarn attended NCCSSM 2024, the National Conference on Clinical Sexology and Sexual Medicine, held on 5–6 September 2024 at Swissôtel Bangkok Ratchada under the theme “Positive Sexuality for All”. The programme brought together experts from many disciplines and covered every dimension of sexual medicine.
NCCSSM is the annual conference of the Thai Association for Clinical Sexology and Sexual Medicine. This year it ran in two rooms, Clinical Sexology and Sexual Medicine, with speakers from integrative and preventive medicine, urology, endocrinology, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry and psychotherapy.
On men's sexual health, sessions covered erectile dysfunction from an integrative-medicine perspective, holistic hormonal wellness in men, patient safety, and updates on current care from experts across several disciplines.
On women's sexual health, the programme addressed essential sexual healthcare for sex workers, including the prevention of sexually transmitted infections; STIs and women's health over the long term; and a panel on sexual pain and vaginismus from the perspectives of a gynaecologist, a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist.
Dr. Kris attended with the aim of bringing the knowledge back to improve patient care at the clinic.
